Double-striped Pug

Double-striped Pug
Double-striped Pug. There are lots of Pug moths – about 50 species in the UK. They are all quite small and they rapidly lose some of their scales, which makes them difficult to identify. This moth was photographed on February 29 2012. If it had not been a leap year it would have been a March moth.
